I am an artist, designer and collaborator with a B.A. in Visual Arts from University of California, San Diego. With involvement in multiple internships and work on art projects, I have over 11 years of video and image production experience.
I've demonstrated proficiency in multiple skills across the new media discipline, including graphic design, editing, motion graphics, animation, photography, print, and compositing. I've worked with faculty and students across digital mediums, utilizing professional formats and work flows with cutting edge collaboration tools. In a digital cinema class I produced original 4k content, I was a project leader in a UCSD/Keio University collaboration for the Cinegrid Exchange, and I was a guest speaker at the Ciant S3D World workshop at UCSD. I also had the privilege of working alongside Sony software and hardware developers at the 2013 NAB show as a student intern.
I love working in new formats and pushing technology to create new and interesting user experiences. My background in art history and critical theory inform design decisions I make everyday. I believe that both solo projects and group collaborations both provide unique learning opportunities; please take a look at some of these academic projects and contact me with any questions.
